Graphene – Cell

The main piece for my final major project at uni. This brief was given to me by Kilogramme in Manchester, they asked me to research a new material called Graphene. Then to take the research and create a motion piece exploring the possible uses of Graphene. I chose to do three motion pieces. One that introduced Graphene and the other two to demonstrate two possible uses. THIS IS MY VERY FIRST 3D ANIMATION PIECE

This video looks at how Graphene could be used to fight cancer, by covering the Graphene flake in an irradiated gell, then glucose they would inject it into the blood stream, a cell such as a cancer cell would ‘eat’ it because of the glucose coating. Then as the flake is covered in radiation they could track it to a cellular level and destroy it with a laser.
